Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Cath Lab Tech (as required by state regulations)
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment (X-ray, fluoroscopy, and other cath lab devices)
- Prior experience in a cath lab or interventional cardiology setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interventional team during complex cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs throughout procedures
- Accurately document procedural details and maintain clinical records
- Ensure proper equipment setup and assist with inventory management
- Follow all hospital and regulatory guidelines for quality assurance and patient safety
