POSITION – Melter/Molder
JOB LOCATION – Grafton, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift, 2:00am to 10:00am
STARTING PAY – $19.38 per hour
BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma or GED preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – None required, willing to train
Do you like getting done with work early in the morning? This could be a great fit. As a Melter/Molder, you will work in a foundry environment melting metal and pouring it into molds to create finished cast parts. This is a very hot, physical role that offers strong long-term stability and excellent advancement opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Operate melting equipment to liquefy various metals
- Pour molten metal safely into molds
- Monitor temperatures and material flow
- Assist with mold preparation and handling finished castings
- Follow strict safety procedures in a high-heat environment
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a very hot, physically demanding environment
- Must be comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable attendance for early morning shift
- Manufacturing or foundry experience is a plus but not required
