We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our Medical Adult Day Care team. The CMT will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring participant health, and supporting daily care needs in a safe and engaging environment for adults with medical and functional needs.

ey Responsibilities

• Administer medications to participants in accordance with physician orders and Maryland state regulations
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain medication records (MARs)
• Observe participants for side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to nursing staff
• Assist with participant care, including activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Communicate effectively with nurses, staff, participants, and families
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of medications
• Participate in care planning and team meetings
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all participants

Qualifications

• Active Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in the State of Maryland
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in adult day care, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
