Seeking dedicated Medical Assistants/phlebotomists over two years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidates would be dynamic, friendly, fast-learners, multi-taskers, & will assist the physician in providing the highest quality of care in a family practice setting. The candidates will be working closely with the other MAs, the office manager, the front-desk specialist, the physician and the owners in a supportive & cordial environment. This would be a primary care clinic.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Verify insurance & Eligibility

- Check-in & Check-out

- Attend phone calls

- Triage patients

- Schedule, Re-schedule appointments

- Scan in-coming & out-going clinical documentation

- Obtain & upload medical records, labs & imaging

- Call in prescription refills

- Administer IM injections

- Draw & package blood for labs

- Manage inventory

- Stocking & cleaning the exam rooms

- Assisting the physician in procedures

- Checking & responding to the voice messages

- Confirming appointments & Chart prepping for the next day

- Complete requests for medical records

- Facility cleaning & maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 (4.5 days)

Benefits – To be discussed at the time of the offer

Pay: $17.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience, Bilingual preferred
