Job Description
Monte Fernandez Insurance Agency Inc., a well-established State Farm Insurance Agency in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a motivated and people-focused professional to join our team.
As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will help clients protect what matters most by assisting with Auto, Home, Life, and Health insurance products. This role is client-facing, goal-oriented, and perfect for someone with strong communication skills and a desire to grow in a supportive environment. No insurance license is required to apply—we provide training and support for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with prospective and existing clients via phone, email, and in person
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Maintain and grow an existing book of business
- Generate new business through outreach and referrals
- Work toward individual and agency performance goals
Qualifications:
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable communicating with clients and making outbound contacts
- Goal-oriented, coachable, and motivated to succeed
- People-focused and team-oriented
- College education preferred but not required
Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain insurance licensing (training provided)
- Positive attitude and professional work ethic
- Comfortable with proactive client outreach
Compensation:
