Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-27 school year in Douglasville, GA, located approximately 20 minutes west of Atlanta. This contract position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week and is strictly onsite, with no virtual work options.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an SLP with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience or certification specifically related to school settings is essential
Location:
- Douglasville, GA (20 minutes west of Atlanta)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students within the school setting
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required
