Job DescriptionJoin Our Team as a Traveling Pharmacy Technician!

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of patients? The pharmacy team at Samaritan Health Services is on the lookout for a dedicated Traveling Pharmacy Technician. In this role, you'll assist our pharmacists with medication preparation and labeling, while also performing a variety of technical support functions under their supervision. Plus, enjoy a $3.00 per hour float differential for hours worked!

Your journey will take you across the beautiful mid-Willamette Valley and central Oregon Coast, visiting various Samaritan Hospital Pharmacy sites. Join a team of experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are the leading experts in medication management and are deeply committed to patient care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling.
  • Perform a broad range of technical support functions.
  • Travel between pharmacy sites to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One of the following:
    • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
    • Currently enrolled first-year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course is preferred.
