Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students at one school location in Marietta, GA. This contract position offers a full academic year commitment, Monday through Friday, with flexible start and end times to accommodate your schedule. As an onsite SLP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to help students reach their communication potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school and licensing requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the students educational goals
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
