Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care
Location: Havre, MT
Position Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 8 Weeks (High potential for extension or permanent placement)
Compensation
- Local Pay: $1,700 – $1,800 per week
- Traveler Pay: $2,000 – $2,100 per week
- Hours: 36 hours guaranteed (Overtime applies after 40 hours)
Schedule
- Shift: Variable (Days & Nights)
- Additional Requirements: Holiday coverage and on-call rotation required
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated RN or LPN to provide high-quality care within a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment while supporting a collaborative, patient-centered care model. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Accurately document all patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Quickly learn and apply facility-specific procedures, workflows, and clinical practices.
- Maintain compliance with patient privacy standards and organizational policies.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program.
Licensure & Certification
- Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license – Montana.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Participation in on-call rotation required (pager rate applies with minimum callback pay).
- In-state travel candidates must reside more than 250 miles from the facility.
- Must maintain a reliable primary contact number at all times.
