Job Title: Occupational Therapist (School-Based Float)
Location: Ashburn, VA
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:50 AM – 3:40 PM
Pay Rate: $48 – $54 per hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 – $2,160
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a proactive and dedicated Occupational Therapist for a 14-week school-based contract. This is a Float position supporting multiple school locations within the western region of the district, designed to maintain a manageable commute while providing consistent student care.
The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with educators and special education teams to support students in achieving their academic and functional goals through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities

Regional Coverage: Provide occupational therapy services across multiple school sites within the designated west region.

Student Support: Address fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-regulation needs in a school-based environment.

IEP Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and special education teams to implement and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Adaptive Strategies: Recommend and implement classroom modifications and adaptive equipment to enhance student accessibility and learning outcomes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance with educational and clinical standards.
Requirements

Licensure: Active Virginia State Occupational Therapy License

Certification: NBCOT Certification required

Experience: Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
