Job DescriptionPrecision CNC Manufacturing Specialist Location: St. Inigoes, MD

Picture your day: you arrive on the floor, review the day’s priorities, load programs, and bring complex components to life with impeccable accuracy. You’ll move from blueprint to finished part using multi-axis CNC equipment, verifying every dimension and continuously refining the process with your team.

What you’ll do

• Set up and run CNC mills and lathes to produce parts exactly to spec.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to plan toolpaths and machining strategies.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, and more).
• Handle routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine or program issues to minimize downtime.
• Partner with engineers and fellow machinists to optimize feeds/speeds, fixturing, and cycle times.
• Keep the work area orderly and safe while following established procedures.
• Record production data and promptly escalate quality or equipment concerns.

What you’ll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC machinist or in a closely related role.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
• Fluency in reading and applying technical documentation and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively on a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
• Must be able to maintain a federal Secret-level security clearance.
• Must have an insurable driver record.
