We’re looking for a highly organized, relationship-oriented operator who can help grow and support IAB’s buy-side membership community while driving engagement across events, councils, professional development offerings, and industry initiatives.

This sales support role is ideal for someone who enjoys account management, CRM rigor, and building trusted relationships across the advertising ecosystem.

At IAB, you’ll be at the center of the digital advertising ecosystem working with brands, agencies, platforms, and industry leaders helping them stay ahead through our membership, events, and education offerings.

???? What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting Buy-Side Revenue Growth & Member Engagement

You’ll partner directly with senior leadership to support growth across IAB’s agency and brand portfolio (i.e. Publics Groupe, Omnicom, WPP, L’Oreal, General Motors, and Hershey, and more), helping drive membership acquisition, retention, participation, and strategic engagement.

You’ll be in the mix owning both revenue growth and member relationships:

  • Partner with the Senior Director to manage a portfolio of current and prospective agency and brand members, driving retention, expansion, and new business
  • Develop deep, multi-layered relationships with members going beyond revenue to connect them into IAB’s broader work (policy, standards, etc.)
  • Help sell and promote IAB sponsorships, training programs, and certifications
  • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of new members, with clear next steps and targets
  • Collaborate closely with the Events team to deliver integrated and high-quality member experiences
  • Partner across internal teams (Events, Professional Development, Policy, Tech Lab) to ensure members are connected to the right opportunities
  • Drive account planning and follow-through across priority accounts
  • Stay on top of industry trends, company movements, and opportunities to inform outreach and strategy
  • Support executive-level relationship building through preparation, follow-ups, and coordination
  • Contribute to team success by mentoring junior team members as you grow in the role


CRM Management, Account Mapping & Operational Excellence
This role plays a critical part in ensuring visibility, follow-through, and operational rigor across the buy-side business.

You will:

  • MaintainaccurateCRM records
  • Track outreach activity, pipeline movement, and member engagement within Salesforce
  • Support account mapping efforts across agencies, brands, and holding companies
  • Help monitor org changes, leadership movement, and ecosystem developments relevant to member strategy
  • Ensure opportunities, follow-ups, and action items are documented and progressing
  • Assist in preparing leadership updates, pipeline summaries, and engagement reports

Member Experience & Industry Engagement
You’ll help ensure members feel connected, informed, and supported throughout their relationship with IAB.

You will:

  • Coordinate and support member participation across events, councils, and working groups
  • Help resolve registration, access, and engagement issues in partnership with internal teams
  • Draft member communications, follow-ups, and outreach notes
  • Gather member feedback and surface insights back to leadership
  • Represent IAB professionally in industry conversations and relationship-building efforts


This is a roll-up-your-sleeves sales role. You will own your outcomes.

???? Who This Role Is For

You likely bring:

  • 3–7+ years of experience in media, advertising, partnerships, account management, member engagement, customer success, sales operations, or business development
  • Familiarity with the digital advertising, agency, marketing, or media ecosystem
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Experience managing pipelines, workflows, and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in a trade association, media company, adtech platform, publisher, agency, or membership organization
  • Experience supporting events, sponsorships, councils, or executive engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with media planning, measurement, creator, commerce, retail media, or digital ecosystem trend
