Family Nurse Practitioner Details

Full time schedule, Monday through Friday
Day shift, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Locum tenens opportunity with the option to extend

Family Nurse Practitioner Duties

Work as a member of the medical team providing general medicine services to patients at API
Provide care across the lifespan, including adolescent and geriatric health needs
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure timely, effective patient care
Document patient progress and care in Electronic Health Records (Meditech)
Participate in on-call coverage as assigned

Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

Active Alaska Nurse Practitioner license
Family Nurse Practitioner certification
Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner
Comfortable with EMR, computerized progress notes, and computerized order entry
