Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role requires a well-rounded technician with strong electrical and mechanical expertise who can work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated machinery
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment
• Diagnose issues with motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and robotics
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Install, modify, and upgrade machinery and equipment as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and company policies
• Document maintenance activities and complete work orders accurately

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (480V, controls, VFDs, motors)
• Experience with PLCs (troubleshooting required; programming a plus)
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotics and automated systems
• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms
• Welding and fabrication experience (MIG/TIG/Stick)
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
