Job DescriptionSahale Outdoors is in need of a volunteer bookkeeper to assist with financial administration and running payroll for our program staff. This position would support our nonprofit's goals of making outdoor education and adventure accessible to all, supporting children and youth physical and mental health, and developing young leaders in the outdoors and in their communities.
SkillsWe are in search of an individual with high attention to detail, strong math computation skills, experience with Quickbooks and payroll, and the ability to manage their own time and take initiative to communicate issues.
DetailsThis role would require up to 10 hours of work per month. The job can be done remotely, but the bookkeeper is welcome to come in to the Sahale office in Fife if they prefer.
We would ask the bookkeeper to confirm hours with the program director and run payroll for program staff twice a month, as well as completing monthly tasks on an agreed upon schedule of categorizing income and expenses, paying monthly and quarterly taxes, and sending invoices.
