Location: Putnam Hospital Center - 670 Stoneleigh Ave, Carmel Hamlet, NY 10512
Contract: 03/16/2026 to 09/01/2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dress Code: Business Casual

Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting front-end clinical operations by managing patient check-in and check-out processes. This position ensures accurate patient information, efficient scheduling, and a positive overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner

• Confirm and update patient demographics and insurance information

• Assist patients with MyChart activation and portal support

• Collect copays and process payments accurately

• Complete patient check-out procedures

• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate visit needs

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of healthcare experience

• Experience working with Epic electronic health records

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
