Job Title: Senior Account Sales Manager $75-80k Base Plus Commission

Location: Fremont, CA

Reports To: Director of Sales or Head of Sales

Position SummaryThe Senior Account Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic customer accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves a mix of account management and new business development, with a focus on long-term partnerships and revenue expansion within key verticals such as semiconductor, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Grow Key Accounts: Build strong relationships with existing customers, understand their business needs, and identify opportunities to expand product and service offerings.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute account plans that align with the company's sales targets and customer strategies.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or industry vertical.
  • Customer Presentations & Demos: Lead sales presentations, product demos, and proposal development, working closely with technical and engineering teams.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations around pricing, terms, and agreements, ensuring mutual value and long-term engagement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Support to deliver tailored solutions.
  • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date records of all account activities, sales forecasts, and customer interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to provide input into product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or technical background is a plus.
  • 5–8+ years of sales experience in B2B technology, industrial automation, or semiconductor equipment.
  • Proven success in account management and complex solution-based selling.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to travel up to 25–40% based on customer needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling automation, robotics, or capital equipment.
  • Familiarity with global OEMs, fabs, or contract manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom environments, wafer handling, or related systems.
