Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume Chemistry Laboratory. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical laboratory expertise, proven leadership ability, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the Chemistry Laboratory
- Manage laboratory workflow, staffing, and overall operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and applicable laboratory quality standards
- Oversee quality control, proficiency testing, and regulatory documentation
- Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff to support performance and development
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with laboratory leadership to improve processes and enhance patient care outcomes
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure timely and reliable reporting of test results
Qualifications
Required:
- Current Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) licensure/qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, Physical Sciences, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Hands-on experience in Chemistry Laboratory operations
- Strong knowledge of laboratory regulations, quality assurance, and compliance standards
Preferred:
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
- 2+ years of laboratory operations oversight experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
