The Institute for Behavior Change is an award-winning nonprofit organization that has been training full-time and

part-time staff to deliver mental health treatment and behavioral support to children in their schools and

communities since 1996. We offer training and support to new professionals who are seeking to expand their careers

as specialists in the treatment, evaluation and education of children. We specialize in using Applied Behavior

Analysis (ABA) principles and practices to deliver Intensive Behavioral Health Services to children under the age of

14 with Autism and ADHD symptoms who live in Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.


Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Consultants. We employ licensed BC staff

and help unlicensed BCs create a successful path toward licensure. Our goal is to provide you with the most

fulfilling, meaningful employment experience as a professional in charge of successful behavioral change programs

that improve the quality of life for children and their families. As a supervisor of BHT providers you will coordinate

treatment planning with clients, families and other caregivers. You will monitor treatment progress carefully, and will

receive paid training and supervision from BCBA staff that will help to expand your own knowledge base and skill set.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians to help them expand their service delivery skills, crisis prevention and therapeutic behavior management skills
  • Create and monitor individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents, making improvements as necessary and collaborating with parents and other caregivers.
  • Train staff, caregivers and families to use evidence-based strategies to maximum therapeutic benefit.
  • Create professional documentation of treatment plans and service delivery records using Electronic Health
  • Record software developed specifically for behavioral treatment providers (Central Reach).
  • Administration is always available to assist in the management of unusual incidents and emergencies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and behavioral treatment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills to assess progress in behavioral treatment.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and compliance with relevant regulations.

Salary:

  • Unlicensed Behavior Consultant: $50-$65/hour based on experience
  • Licensed Behavior Consultant: $75-$90/hour based on experience

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work or Education
  • Current Pennsylvania Criminal Background Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance
  • Physical exam indicating overall general health and a negative TB test
