Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available in Holton, KS, offering the opportunity to support student development and well-being within an educational setting. This role involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling services aimed at enhancing student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement intervention plans and counseling services tailored to individual student requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Travel to multiple school locations as required to effectively serve assigned student populations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Kansas
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and demonstrate flexibility with travel requirements
