Talent One Recruitment & Staffing is searching for a Quality Control Supervisor for a food manufacturing company.
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday 2nd Shift 4pm to 12:30am
Pay Rate: $24hr - $25hr
Job Duties:
- Asist with food product safety and quality testing (Food Color, Nutrients, and Moisture levels)
- Lab testing and calibration (Brix, refractory index, density, weight, moisture testing)
- Ensures food product and process are compliant with food and drug administration rules and regulations.
- Test for Bacteria in chemical and biological samples.
- Responsible for preparing necessary equipment related to quality checks before the beginning of production.
- Document and file all job-related quality information.
- Conduct internal audits, product inspections and preparing for external audits by regulatory agencies
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Food Science; Food Technology; Microbiology; Chemistry; Biology; Agricultural Science
- Prior Quality Control Experience.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations set by FDA and USDA.
- HACCP Certification
- SQF Certification
- PCQI Certification
- Knowledge of GMP's
- 3-5 Years of experience in food manufacturing or food safety
- Experience in a Supervisory or team lead preferred
