School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Land O Lakes, FL
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Land O Lakes, Florida. This is a full-time position where youll play a key role in supporting students communication skills and academic achievement. Compensation Packages
We provide competitive pay with two distinct compensation options:
Local Candidates (Land O Lakes area)

Pay Range: $40 $45 per hour

Full-time, school-based schedule aligned with the academic calendar

Weekly pay via direct deposit
Travel Candidates (open to relocation for the assignment)

Equivalent Pay Range: $45 $52 per hour

Weekly Take-Home: approximately $1,378 $1,537

Compensation includes a reduced taxable hourly rate, with additional non-taxed stipends for housing and meals

School-Based SLP Job Duties

Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs

Conduct assessments, diagnose communication disorders, and create individualized treatment plans

Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families, and staff

Monitor student progress, adjust therapy strategies, and maintain accurate documentation

Work closely with school personnel to promote student success across settings

Ensure compliance with IDEA, state guidelines, and school district requirements
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university

Active Florida SLP license (or eligibility prior to start date)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may be supported

Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards

Ability to pass required background screenings and meet district onboarding criteria
