Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-8 public school in Fort Branch, Indiana, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contracted full-time position offers a caseload starting at approximately 50 students addressing primarily mild to moderate disabilities, with a small portion of the caseload including students in Life Skills classrooms (K-5 grades). The role requires daily onsite presence from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students with various disabilities, including developmental delays (DD), specific learning disabilities (SLD), and other health impairments (OHI).
- Manage and adapt caseload based on student referrals and school population changes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district mandates.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana School SLP License required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working in pediatric and school settings highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively support students across a mild to moderate disability spectrum.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Fort Branch, Indiana, onsite K-8 school.
- Full-time, 32.5 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year.
