Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-8 public school in Fort Branch, Indiana, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contracted full-time position offers a caseload starting at approximately 50 students addressing primarily mild to moderate disabilities, with a small portion of the caseload including students in Life Skills classrooms (K-5 grades). The role requires daily onsite presence from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to K-8 students with various disabilities, including developmental delays (DD), specific learning disabilities (SLD), and other health impairments (OHI).
Manage and adapt caseload based on student referrals and school population changes.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district mandates.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana School SLP License required.
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
Experience working in pediatric and school settings highly desirable.
Ability to effectively support students across a mild to moderate disability spectrum.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location and Schedule:

Fort Branch, Indiana, onsite K-8 school.
Full-time, 32.5 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year.
