POSITION SUMMARY:
Must maintain a high level of accuracy involving shipments, receiving and inventory. This position will be responsible for racking products and organizing all areas of shipping, including cold rooms and dock areas clean.

Essential Functions:
· Safety Operate slice machines.
· Weighing mushrooms into final containers
· Stacking boxes onto pallets
· Picking customer orders
· Loading/unloading pallets from trucks.
· Washing/sanitizing equipment
· General labor duties as directed and assigned by site manager.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 2 to 3 years of shipping and loading experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience and previous certifications.
- Must have basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to read labels and numbers.
- Experience in working with produce.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be a fast learner.
- Able to read and understand written directions and take oral instruction.
- Good work ethic.
- Scheduling Flexibility
- A strong safety focus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the harvesting shift, stand and climb on a three-foot ladder, squat, kneel, bend and reach repetitively.
· Ability to climb up and down stairs while carrying harvested products.
· Ability to lift, move and carry 10-20 lbs. equipment.
· Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Other Physical Requirements: List as necessary - ex: must wear steel-toed boots, must wear protective eye-wear, hearing protection, may work in outdoors during inclement weather, ability to travel by car or plane, high frequency of computer keyboarding, high frequency of viewing a computer monitor, etc.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in external mushroom temperature-controlled buildings. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
