Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across designated routes within port facilities
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with federal guidelines
- Follow route schedules diligently while adapting to changing port priorities and traffic conditions
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver, specifically with tractor-trailers or port logistics operations
- Demonstrated ability to perform route driving safely while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Previous delivery driver experience within port or heavy freight environments is highly desirable
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record; additional certifications such as TWIC CARD are a plus
