Position Summary
The Little Room is seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen in Los Angeles. As Head Chef, you’ll oversee daily operations, craft memorable meals, and guide a team of dedicated line cooks and dishwashers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our menu, upholding the highest standards of food quality, and delivering a dining experience that keeps our guests coming back.
What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the kitchen team, including line cooks and dishwashers

Ensure food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards

Oversee safe food service protocols in compliance with Health Department requirements

Manage ordering, inventory, and kitchen supplies

Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain a strong, motivated team

Collaborate with management to create and roll out new menu items

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care
Qualifications
-
4+ years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering
-
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered

Valid Food Protection Manager Certification (required)

CA Food Handler Certification (required)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
