Location: Hyannis, MA
Employment Type: Contract Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Evening / Night (Rotating weekends & holidays)

Schedule Details

  • Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

  • Rotating weekends and holidays required

Compensation

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $1,648

  • W2 Rate: $18/hour

  • Stipend: $973/week

Job Summary

A respected acute care healthcare facility in Hyannis, Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician for a contract assignment. This role supports cardiology diagnostic services during evening and night shifts, ensuring accurate testing, documentation, and patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiology diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols

  • Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and ensure proper patient identification

  • Accurately document test results and patient information in electronic systems

  • Maintain and operate cardiology diagnostic equipment safely and effectively

  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Provide professional and compassionate care to patients during diagnostic procedures

  • Support department operations during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course or successful Medical Terminology Challenge Exam

  • BLS Certification (required)

  • PBT (ASCP) Certification eligibility as defined by ASCP

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Prior acute care hospital experience preferred
