Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a CWMD Specialist to support the Army Treaty Compliance and Surety Division (DAMO-SSD), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Environment Safety & Occupational Health (DASA(ESOH)), and U.S. Army Nuclear and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Agency (USANCA)
Description
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) operations and interacting with Department of Defense (DoD) organizations. The CWMD Specialist will support DAMO-SSD, USANCA, and DASA(ESOH), providing expertise and strategic guidance in CWMD initiatives. This role includes supporting high-level planning, coordination, and implementation of CWMD policies and programs.
Mission
To enhance the Army's capabilities in countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) by providing expert analysis, strategic planning, and programmatic support. This position will help ensure compliance with DoD and international guidelines, contributing to the Army's operational readiness and strategic interests.
Clearance Level Required: TS/SCI
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert analysis, study, and assessment of U.S. Government, DoD, Joint, and Army CWMD guidance and regulatory issues.
- Review and comment on CWMD-related requirements documents, including Army Strategy, Army Campaign Plan, Army Strategic Planning Guidance, and DoD Functional Campaign Plan for CWMD.
- Conduct research and analysis on CWMD policies, regulations, and doctrine; provide informed recommendations on CWMD-related matters.
- Support USANCA in the development and implementation of CWMD guidance, utilizing database management systems and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, briefings, seminars, and training sessions, providing technical and strategic input on CWMD issues.
- Compile, analyze, and present data related to CWMD operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform continuous monitoring of information sources for developments in CWMD, providing timely updates and synopses to senior leadership.
- Collaborate on special studies and additional tasks related to CWMD as directed by the Government.
- Prepare detailed reports, executive summaries, after-action reviews, and other official documents regarding CWMD initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in interacting with Service Staff, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) organizations.
- In-depth knowledge of CWMD operational and strategic contexts within the DoD.
- Proven experience in conducting strategic analysis and research on CWMD policies and doctrine.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of providing high-level strategic guidance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior leadership.
- Familiarity with database management systems and the ability to utilize them for CWMD analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, scientific, technical, management, or related discipline relevant to this PWS (e.g., International Relations, National Security Studies, Biochemistry, Physics, Nuclear Engineering).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years in CWMD-related roles, including strategic planning, analysis, and engagement with DoD entities.
- Clearance: TS/SCI
- Location: Primarily on-site in the NCR, with occasional travel as required.
