Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting K-12 students during their Extended School Year (ESY) program throughout June as a contract Occupational Therapist. This engaging part-time position near Lees Summit, MO enables you to work with a diverse caseload across multiple school buildings, providing direct services that help students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

The assignment runs from June 1st to June 25th with the flexibility of working Monday through Thursday. The weekly commitment is approximately 22-25 hours, totaling around 600 service minutes. As you travel between schools, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize your expertise to enhance students’ access to learning opportunities. There may also be an opportunity to extend your impact by covering OT services for the first few weeks of the new school year in August and September.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri
Experience or interest working with K-12th grade students in a school setting
Strong communication and organizational abilities for work across multiple sites
Ability to travel frequently between buildings within the district
Comfortable providing services independently and as part of a team
Commitment to making a positive difference for students with varied needs
