Independent Wood & Upholstery Repair Contractor (1099) – Training
Provided – Pittsburgh
Independent Wood & Upholstery Repair Contractor – Pittsburgh Area

We are seeking a detail-oriented independent contractor for high-end in-home
wood and upholstery repairs. This is a 1099 field role for a skilled trades
professional who prefers independent work and professional residential
environments.
This is not handyman work. We specialize in precision wood finish repairs and
upholstery service.
Training is provided for candidates with transferable skills.

Responsibilities
· Perform in-home wood finish repairs and color blending
· Repair scratches, dents, veneer damage, and finish defects
· Perform upholstery repairs (seams, cushions, minor structural
adjustments)
· Upload repair notes, job photos and collect customer signatures using our
service app
· Maintain a clean, professional appearance
Ideal Background
Experience in:
· Auto body paint/blending
· Cabinet or wood finishing

· Upholstery repair
· Millwork or detail finishing
Strong attention to detail and professionalism are required.

Compensation
· 1099 Independent Contractor
· Paid per completed job
· Consistent work volume
