PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Jeffersontown KY 40299 – 100% On-site
- Payrate: $64.27/hr
- Required Availability: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, supporting patient education, and collaborating with healthcare providers to promote optimal patient outcomes.

PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential over-usage patterns.
- Ensure prescribed medicines are appropriate for patients’ needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
- Advise patients on medication use, possible side effects, storage, and interactions.
- Provide consultations on prescription and non-prescription medications.
- Educate patients on medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper protocols.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and interns.
- Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to address drug-related concerns.
- Provide patient services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management.
PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky.
- Strong knowledge of medication management, compounding, and patient education.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
