Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Indianapolis, IN, this travel opportunity offers multiple openings for licensed Special Education Teachers for the full school year. These positions serve elementary school and developmental preschool settings, with caseloads including Special Education classrooms, Inclusion, Resource, and Autism programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Indiana state license required for Mild to Moderate K-12 grades
- Licensed Teacher of Record status
- Experience working with diverse special education needs including Autism, Inclusion, and Resource settings
- Ability to start immediately and commit to 35 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and individualized support to students with special education needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing special education services
- Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment
