Manufacturing Company in Santee is looking for a Quality Management Specialist. They are seeking a qualified quality specialist to assist with implementation of an ISO 9001-2015 quality management system. The right candidate must demonstrate experience relevant to key responsibilities is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Quality Management System (QMS) Coordinator Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Quality Management System (QMS) Coordinator will assist
in refreshing the company's QMS to ensure compliance with ISO standards. This role focuses on interpreting the standards as they relate to the type of manufacturing involved, and to ensure appropriate quality policies and procedures are in place. The outcome will be a successful ISO 9001 certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing the QMS framework and ensuring it aligns with relevant standards.
- Overseeing document management processes, including template creation for procedures, work
- instructions forms and guides, and the release and communication of documents.
- Set up system administration including document review cycles, internal audit cycles and troubleshooting for staff.
- May provide training to staff on QMS requirements, quality standards, and procedures.
- Preparing and presenting reports on status of implementation.
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met and a culture of quality is fostered.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies.
Required Skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices .
- Excellent organizational and communication skills .
- Proficiency in document control and record keeping .
- Experience with ISO 9001 auditing and inspections .
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills .
- Ability to train and educate others .
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software .
Compensation : $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
