Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing & Brand Design Specialist to join our growing team at SGL Financial. This individual will play a key role in shaping, executing, and maintaining our brand identity across all client-facing and internal materials.

This is a hybrid creative and execution-focused role that combines graphic design, digital marketing support, and brand management. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, a passion for consistency, and the ability to bring ideas to life across print and digital platforms.

This position will work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing to ensure all marketing initiatives align with the firms brand standards, messaging, and overall client experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and update marketing materials including: Brochures, flyers, postcards, and event invitations, presentation decks and seminar materials, client communications and branded documents
  • Maintain and enforce brand standards across all materials (fonts, colors, layouts, tone) and ensure consistency across print and digital assets
  • Assist with website updates, landing pages, and basic web design enhancements
  • Support email marketing design and layout (utilizing Mailchimp)
  • Create digital assets for campaigns, including banners, graphics, and social media visuals
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns, including webinars, seminars, and client events
  • Assist in formatting and designing guides, pillar pages, and downloadable resources
  • Support content marketing efforts with visually engaging layouts and graphics
  • Develop drip marketing campaigns with strong CTAs for website visitors
  • Act as a steward of the SGL Financial brand across all touchpoints
  • Review materials for design accuracy, formatting, and brand compliance
  • Help evolve and refine brand standards as the firm grows
  • Work closely with internal teams (advisors, operations, events, compliance)
  • Coordinate with external vendors (printers, mail houses, content partners)

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 35+ years of experience in graphic design or marketing design role
  • Proficiency in: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work
  • Preferred (Strong Plus): Website design using WordPress, Basic HTML/CSS for email or web formatting, Email marketing platform experience using Mailchimp
