We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and able to thrive in a busy clinical environment while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs and patient medical history
- Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
- Perform venipuncture and blood draws when necessary
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean clinical environment
- Support patient education regarding wellness protocols and treatments
- Manage patient charts and documentation in electronic medical records
- Assist with lab processing and specimen handling
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments and follow-up care
- Work collaboratively with providers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (not always required depending on experience)
- Experience in venipuncture or phlebotomy strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced clinic environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping patients improve their quality of life
