Job DescriptionWarehouse AssociateLocation: Norton Shores, MI Pay: $16.50/Hour
Job SummaryAre you someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active, and supporting smooth operations in a fast-paced environment? Then come check this place out and make a change. As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a key role in order fulfillment by accurately picking and packing products, assisting with inventory tasks, and helping keep the warehouse organized and running efficiently.
What You'll Be DoingAs a Warehouse Associate, your core responsibilities will include:
- Accurately picking products from designated locations using paper lists or handheld devices.
- Packing products securely according to shipping standards and company guidelines.
- Inspecting items for accuracy, defects, or damage before packing.
- Participating in regular inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Assisting with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain clean and organized work areas, follow safety procedures, and work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to support continuous operations.
What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Warehouse, pick/pack, or material handling experience helpful; training available.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for most of the shift.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately without barcode scanners.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow written instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn; forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
