CPA Position Summary

If so, Krus Law is searching for a CPA to join our small but very busy tax law firm in the Oviedo/Winter Springs area.
The CPA will manage a variety of tax, audit and other assignments as designated by the Lead Tax Attorney/CPA. The CPA will need to function with minimal supervision and excel at independent problem solving, strengthening client relationships and increasing profitability.
CPA’s Contributions and Responsibilities

Complete tax and/or audit projects for designated clients as directed with minimal oversight

Conduct thorough engagement reviews

Review and prepare federal and multi-state tax returns; experience with C-Corps and ASC 740 tax provisions highly desirable

Research fundamental tax issues using online tools

Accept increasing responsibility

Recognize potential problem areas during engagements and propose effective solutions

Conduct business-specific research – gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports and make recommendations

Develop, strengthen and maintain effective client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service-oriented approach

Supervise and mentor Staff Bookkeeper

Other duties and projects as assigned
Your Qualifications

CPA Certified
-
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus)

3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience

Experience with Drake Accounting Software is a plus
