Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $46,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Delta Township seeking experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities

Process high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Prepare and process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to terms.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts.
Maintain accurate AP/AR records and support month-end close processes.
Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to resolve billing and payment issues.

Recommended Qualifications

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
Demonstrated understanding of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Familiarity with a lean manufacturing environment.
Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPA) or Accounts Receivable.
Experience with foreign currency transactions.
