Job DescriptionMECHANICAL ASSEMBLERMonday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm $16.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assemble, rework, and repair mechanical equipment and components according to engineering and quality specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently
- Inspect parts for defects and perform pressure testing to ensure proper function and quality standards are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to guide assembly processes
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines to support a safe work environment
- Cross-train in multiple assembly areas to support team needs and assist with training new team members
- Provide backup support in other assembly areas as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs and performing repetitive tasks
