Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized teaching opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers with a moderate license at the secondary level. These full-time contract positions serve students in grades 6 through 12 at two distinct locations, providing a rewarding environment to apply your expertise in supporting diverse learners.

Position Details:

  • Location 1: High School setting, catering to 9th-12th grade students
    • Two full-time positions available
    • Contract duration: Until June 2026
    • Hours: 7:30 AM to 2:10 PM
  • Location 2: Middle School setting, serving 6th-8th grade students
    • One full-time position available
    • Contract duration: Until March 2026
    • Hours: 7:50 AM to 2:40 PM

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Moderate Special Education teaching license
  • Proven experience teaching secondary level students
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies tailored for students with diverse learning needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and support student growth
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, and families to support student success
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development sessions
