Our client located within a commutable distance to Duluth, Minnesota, is seeking a CLT/MLT to join their growing team. Must be ASCP or obtain within 1 year of hire date.
$10K sign-on Bonus.
Must be knowledgeable and practiced in operating highly technical laboratory equipment, conducting quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid. This is a part-time permanent position with benefits.
Job Summary:
Performs routine tests in a medical laboratory to provide data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ability to perform all procedures and policies currently in place, providing the physician with prompt and accurate test results that may assist in the evaluation and monitoring of patient care. May work in the Specimen Processing area, drawing patient specimens in multiple areas of the facility. May also be asked to draw patients’ specimens off-site.
Requirements:
Completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) associate's degree
Must be ASCP certified or obtain within one (1) year (12 months) of hire date.
