Position Overview

Medical Logistics ( MEDLOG) Analyst (MLA) will provide recommendations and assistance to the HQDA G4 regarding the direction, coordination, development, implementation, and execution of MEDLOG policy and programs in support of contingency operations and readiness programs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and assistance regarding the direction, coordination, development, implementation, and execution of MEDLOG policy and programs in support of contingency operations and readiness programs.
  • Ensure MEDLOG changes and recommendations support Army and DoW goals, objectives, and priorities.
  • Synchronize with HQDA G-44M2 and the DoW Executive Agent for Medical Logistics, Army MEDLOG fielding teams, depots, and wholesale medical logistics organizations.
  • Monitor and report on the operational readiness of all Army medical materiel in readiness programs, such as APS, MMRP, MCDM, and UDP.
  • Ensure the Army Strategic Readiness Assessment, Joint Capability Assessment, and Strategic Readiness Tenets are synchronized with the Office of the Surgeon General and are updated quarterly to accurately reflect the Army's current state of medical materiel readiness.
  • Monitor, track, and prepare funding and program recommendations for medical materiel that transitions from fielding to sustainment.
  • Provide analysis of all medical materiel readiness programs for PoM requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant functional experience, or 15 years of relevant functional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in medical supply, maintenance, and general Medical logistics support.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of the policy, procedures, and automation tools regarding Army Medical support.
  • Compliance: Current SECRET Clearance
  • Certifications: None required.

Preferred Expertise

  • Demonstrated expertise in Medical Logistics at the tactical through operational levels.
  • Familiarity with HQDA Policy development as well as Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
