Full Time Nights- 10:30pm-7:00am. Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Rates starting at $17.00/hr. After Med Tech training, pay increases to $18.50/hr! PLUS Shift differentials including $2 for evenings, $1.50 for nights and an additional $1 for weekends!

At Frederick Living, the Med Tech/ Nurse Aide provides medication administration and supportive care to residents in Aspen. This role encourages independence, ensures resident safety, and supports person-centered care practices.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a collaborative team member within the neighborhood
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and resident deaths
- Maintain resident records daily, including weights, vital signs, and other required documentation
- Administer medications according to procedures and physicians’ orders
- Provide redirection and de-escalation techniques for residents with cognitive impairments
- Assist residents or families who use external pharmacies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
- Respond promptly and positively to resident requests, including telephone calls and requests from family, visitors, or staff
- Perform all Personal Care Aide duties
- Monitor resident location and notify the Charge Nurse or Manager immediately if a resident cannot be located
- Follow proper emergency procedures and obtain additional personnel when necessary
- Answer resident emergencies promptly
- Assist with collecting specimens as needed
- Work all assigned tours of duty
- Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications
- Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medication Administration certification required
- Minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually
- Prior experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments preferred
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension in English
- Ability to maintain resident and staff confidentiality
- Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence

- Team-oriented with flexibility and adaptability
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed
