Full time position in a growing patient oriented orthodontic practice where customer service and outgoing personality are most important (30-38 hours/week).
The best person for this position will have the following qualities: strong communication skills; confident and enthusiastic with proven people skills; self-starter who learns quickly and is able to multitask; friendly and dedicated team player who is positive. Previous dental experience a plus but not required. Customer Service experience is required.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Greeting patients and checking them in for their appointments
- Making patient’s next appointment(s)
- Answering phones
- Verifying insurance for patient’s
- Scanning documents into patient’s chart
- Managing recall reports:
- New patient consults
- Reviewing finances with patients and going over insurance benefits
- Taking panoramic x-ray’s
- Explaining the modality of treatment the doctor recommends to the patient
- Compiling and presenting contract paperwork to new patients
Hours:
Monday: 7:45 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday: 11:45 a.m. - 6:45 p.m. / 5:45pm
Friday: 7:45 a.m. – 12 p.m. (2/month)
Saturday: 7:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. (2/month)
Compensation varies depending on the experience and ability. Benefits offered after one year of service and based on guidelines being met.
