A Barista prepares and serves coffee and other beverages in a fast-paced café environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Baristas contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and beverage quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to company recipes
- Greet customers and take their orders accurately
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and equipment
- Handle cash transactions and balance the cash register
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
- Engage with customers to provide a positive experience
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
