Job DescriptionLinen Sorter – Production FacilityPay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Overtime as needed 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Position OverviewWe are hiring Linen Sorters to support daily production operations. This role is responsible for accurately sorting soiled linen on a moving conveyor belt and placing items into the correct slings or carts. You must follow standard operating procedures while meeting quality and production expectations.This is a fast-paced, physical position that requires reliability, focus, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort soiled linen from a moving conveyor belt accurately and efficiently
- Place linen into designated slings/carts based on classification
- Meet established quality and production standards
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow directions from team leads and supervisors
- Work cooperatively with a diverse workforce
- Remain flexible to work past scheduled hours when production requires
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Additional Responsibilities
- Cross-train in other production areas as needed
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Strong manual dexterity for repetitive sorting tasks
- Ability to bend, twist, lift, and pull consistently throughout the day
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory
- Positive attitude and willingness to work
