Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Teaching roles focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs in a variety of specialized settings, including center-based and autism-focused programs. Locations and Assignments:

  • Affective Needs Teacher supporting center-based students at an elementary school
  • Full-Time Learning Specialist at a K-8 school
  • Full-Time SLS Teacher specializing in autism at an elementary school

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction and support services to students with special needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving needs
  • Maintain detailed records and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Special Education Certification
  • Experience working with ages typical of elementary to middle school students
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based teaching methods for students with special needs
  • Ability to work full-time for the contract duration, approximately starting ASAP through May 22, 2026
  • 010+ years of special education experience considered; salary commensurate with experience
