Job DescriptionVolt is immediately hiring a Lab Research Chemist in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader.
In this role you will play a crucial role in documenting and providing systems support to ensure the quality and safety of consumer products.
This is a first shift position.
As a Lab Research Chemist you will:
- Performs documentation and systems updates required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
- Update computer systems with documents relating to existing and new products
- Work with engineers to gather details to input into technical data sheets
- Help optimize the linkages between various entries within PLM (data repository system)
This is a full-time contingent opportunity
Estimated Duration 24+ months
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and results driven
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience
- Prior experience with PLM, ENOVIA, or similar systems
- Ability to take instructions (verbal and written) and complete a task with little or no supervision as an independent worker
Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
