Position Profile

The goal of this position is to assist the Art Director and Marketing Team with design tasks across the organization, while living out a constantly deepening life of an authentic disciple of Jesus Christ. The ministry of this role is to help connect our audience with the extensive spiritual growth resources we offer, as we fulfill our call to help Christians live like Christians.

This position reports to the Art Director.

Specific duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Creative and visual problem-solving through layout and design in both print and digital mediums for all Marketing Department projects. Also supports other departments, including donor development, global, and product development.
• Collaborate with the Art Director, Marketing Managers, Marketing Director, and/or SVP of Marketing for direction and editing through the final designs.
• Utilize creative briefs to complete tasks.
• Work closely with Project Managers to deliver final designs and assets on time.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to brainstorm and execute department-wide projects. Types of projects will include, but are not limited to, direct mail marketing design, campaign strategy/branding design, social media design, website and email design, video graphics, product design, internal communications design, trade show design, and podcast/broadcast streaming art and design.

Qualifications Required of This Position:

• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or 3 to 5 years of graphic design experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (esp: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic proficiency with Adobe Premiere/After Effects or comparable for video editing and/or animation design is preferred but not required.
• Proficient with Asana and/or comparable project management software.
• Team player who is highly collaborative, relational, nimble, agile, and innovative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
