- Job Type: Full-Time
- Job Location: Bristol, IN
- Pay Rate: $17–$19 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:15 PM – 10:30 PM (currently working until 11:30 PM)
- Seasonal Overtime: 9-hour shifts during busier seasons
- Additional Overtime: Optional volunteer Saturdays with 4–8 hours and bonus pay
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for scanning finished products, packing parts off the line, and organizing wood panels onto skids. The Packaging Associate creates customized pallet patterns based on each client’s specifications while ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper documentation throughout the process.Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry; strong computer competency is imperative
- Scan finished products to ensure correct tracking and inventory control
- Pack parts off the production line onto pallets
- Monitor computer systems closely to ensure correct parts are assigned to the correct client
- Stack wood panels on skids according to customized client specifications
- Follow detailed stacking patterns to build stable, organized pallets
- Verify labels, counts, and packaging accuracy prior to shipment
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled work areas
- Communicate discrepancies or issues to team leads promptly
- Follow all company safety and production procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packaging and shipping goals
- Forklift operation preferred but not required
Qualifications
- Packaging or warehouse experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate
- Strong computer and data entry skills required
- Ability to use handheld scanners or basic technology (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
- Ability to lift, stack, and move materials throughout the shift
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic
